As the COVID-19 situation escalates we are putting measures in place as a church to protect everyone to the best of our ability. In response to the current advice, under direction of the Bishop of Newcastle, St James’ Anglican Church is taking measures to ensure the public safety of our church members, staff and visitors by temporarily suspending all public worship in our church.
We shall make every effort to care for our church communities and the wider public, especially those who are isolated and vulnerable.
Psalm 91 reminds us that “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I will trust.’” Through all of this we grow together in knowledge of our heavenly Father who cares for us.
